Allumi, reaffirms by its design, a humanized technological and scientific universe, ideal for any communication that deals with design, digital transformation and the human scientific adventure.

Allumi is deployed in two widths, 13 weights from Hairline to Black and italics. The shapes of the Allumi Inline, the titling compagnon, embody a human vision of the high-tech universe.

The design of the Allumi

Pushed to its extreme limits, Allumi shapes are neither perfectly round or geometrically square. It’s a human design with a high tech touch. Allumi can be described as the Microgramma (designed by Aldo Novarese in 1964) of the new century, mixed with Frutiger. Allumi is a serious typeface because of the unique design and sturdy form. The pure shapes can create a global presence today with an eye on the world of tomorrow.

Allumi and Allumi Inline family

The family has been built around two widths, standard and wide. The concept is an inline drawn in italic in a Roman shape. The result is a dynamic that plays on the optics and creates visual surprises. This titling family designed in 5 optical bodies offers optical variants and 5 layers (for a total of 42 fonts) that allow numerous color combinations.

Allumi italics have been carefully designed as slanted roman with all necessary optical and human corrections to create a perfect and neat italic.

Each style feature obviously a full glyph set which covers most of latin languages, all aspects of typographic needs such small caps, various set of figures & so on. In addition to that, few alternates glyphs can change the overall aspect of text setting. Finally, over 70 dingbats designed specifically for each weights in the 35 series of Allumi.
