Château Louise de Vallière

Ich&Kar studio chose Altesse for their Château Louise de la Vallière project. Château Louise de La Vallière is a luxury hotel located in the heart of France’s most beautiful provinces, close to the royal town of Amboise. Former quarters of Louise, future Duchesse de La Vallière and great love of the Sun King, it is now a luxury Renaissance hotel under the direction of owner Mira Grebenstein… The interior design is by Jacques Garcia.

Altesse works wonderfully in its uses for this place. Both classic and contemporary, it brings a sophisticated touch to identity. It is a legitimate choice in the sense that Altesse is a typographical adaptation of what we call in French Anglaise, engraved by masters of French copper engraving of the 19th and 20th centuries. With its 38 OpenType functions, graphic designers can endlessly explore variations.
