To be honest, we’re quite obsessional about typefaces and typography. It’s why we decided with Stéphane Elbaz to update Geneo. This typeface a synthesis of historic and present-day visions of typography, a slab serif constructed on an oblique axis. Few years after its publication and certain success, here we go again on optimizing the spacing and kerning of the typeface family along few other design details. Changes on Geneo improve its text color, but isn’t such a dramatic change! As a foundry, we’re constantly listenning to our customers, and looking at previous published designs, to see if we can correct and improve certains things.

Welcome to PS Fournier, a new typeface designed by Stéphane Elbaz. PS Fournier is a tribute to Pierre Simon Fournier, the prolific Parisian type designer. PS Fournier admirably represents the leading-edge of the transition to the modern era typography, probably one of the most iconic incarnation of what would be called today the French transitional style. PS Fournier type family propose romans and italics in 42 styles, 3 optical sizes ranging from light to black to accommodate a diverse uses. Enjoy!

We’re super happy to announce that you will be able to use Retiro and Anisette on your web projects. These typefaces families are immediately available at Typekit, a longtime partner. Retiro Std is a display face, a high-contrast serif design (Didone). Originally designed for Madriz, the Pro version of Retiro contains ornate alternate capitals forms with Spanish influence. Anisette Std is an Art Deco display sans that contains two widths of capitals in each font.
