Lectures + workshop in Los Angeles

After a week in Seattle, Jean François was invited in Los Angeles. The welcome was fantastic. Kali Nikitas, Chair of the Communication Arts department at Otis College of Art and Design concocted a short program including a typeface workshop, a critic session in the type design program conducted by Greg Lindy. All students in the Communication Arts Department were invited to attend the conference Porchez about his Sabon Next and Henderson. Watch an extract on youtube.

Taking advantage of this came to Los Angeles, a special evening with the renowned Parisian designer, was hosted by Michelle Leclerc, Jenna Del Vigna & Laurice Feller: Typographic Talks: An evening with Jean François Porchez of Typofonderie Conference sponsored by AIGA Los Angeles, and Oishii Behance Creative was held at the Custom Hotel February 21, 2012.
